Super Bowl saw the release of a teaser trailer for Avengers: End game. This is actually a repetition of history in terms of marketing strategy. Even before the release of Avengers: Infinity War, the second look of the movie was released during the Super Bowl. Avengers: End game is a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War and is probably the biggest Marvel film ever till date.
The teaser trailer which is of thirty seconds has managed to generate quite a few conspiracy theories. The Marvel universe has millions of fans worldwide and nothing escapes their keen eyes. The fans have noticed that some shots into the video have been edited to remove characters out of the scene.
At the same time, there are also fans who believe that there has been no such editing. They claim to believe that the scenes are as it is gonna be in the movie. But, this opinion is in contrast with the usual practice of Marvel Studios. They are known to have edited key characters shots out of their trailers before.
Examples of this are all over the Internet as fans have actually started digging up evidence to prove their point. One example can be seen in Thor: Ragnarok. In the movie trailer, Thor can be seen unleashing his full powers on the forces of Hela. In this scene, both his eyes are ablaze.
But, later in the film, we get to know that Hela cuts out one of Thor’s eyes. This proves that the trailer hid one of the important details. In addition to that, it is an aspect which aligned Thor with his father, Odin.

Similarly, in Captain America: Civil war, the earlier teasers showed battles between Captain America’s faction and Iron man ‘s faction. All of these were specially crafted in a way that it hid the major surprise of the film.
Spider-Man debuted in the Marvel Universe through Captain America: Civil war and not even a glimpse of him was shown in the teasers. They also edited the scenes in such a way that the war machine was closer to Black widow so that spiderman remains concealed.

Another movie infamous for the same reason is none other than Avengers: Infinity War. The main edit the teaser trailers were known for was the scenes were the Thanos’s collection of infinity stones were concealed. There was also this one scene where an entire army was shown in the trailer fighting for Wakanda. But that shot didn’t even exist in the movie.
I, therefore, think that it is safe to say that we might be very surprised when we actually get to watch Avengers: End game.
The film is all set to release on April 26, 2019.
